We are pleased to announce that Applications for the Chatham Music Club Scholarship for 2024 are available below.  The deadline for submitting applications is April 6, 2024.

The Chatham Music Club Scholarship competition will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the First Congregational Church of Chatham, 650 Main Street, Chatham, between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.  This competition is open to voice and instrumental students in middle school and high school who reside on Cape Cod or study with a teacher on Cape Cod.  

Students should prepare two contrasting works from two of the following classical styles: Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionistic, or 20th Century/Contemporary.  If you require an accompanist and you do not have your own, please let us know and we will provide one.

Awards will be presented at the Club’s Gala on June 30, 2024 at which time winners will be asked to perform.  Prior first place winners are not eligible to compete.

The Chatham Music Club announces its 2023 Scholarship Competition Winners

Congratulations to all participants and their families and teachers.  Our first place winner was Xuanyu (Genie) Chang, piano student of Geraldine Boles; second place was awarded to Thomas Marchio, guitar student of Jim Skinger; and Christopher Marchio, piano student of Anne Perrault was the recipient of the third place prize.  Honorable Mentions were Florence Carlson and Sophia Rollo, violin students of Dan Flonta;  Ester Huang, piano student of Anne Perrault; and Isaiah Woodland, flute student of LeeAnn McKenna.
