EXCITING FINISH TO A MOVEABLE FEAST!
On May 21, 2023, The Chatham Music Club presented A Moveable Feast, an organ concert featuring the three magnificent pipe organs on Chatham’s Main Street. An audience of more than 150 music lovers joyfully strolled from the First United Methodist Church to St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, then across the street to the First Congregational Church of Chatham under the guidance of a Chatham police officer provided by CMC board member, Allan Brooks. The Chatham Music Club wishes to thank all three churches for hosting this event free of charge; the Club is also grateful to the three professional organists — Joan Kirchner, Maury Castro and Joseph Marchio — who brilliantly performed an eclectic program of liturgical and secular music from Baroque to contemporary. These three amazing organists also donated their performances, so that the entire profit from the ticket sales could benefit Monomoy Community Services. The Chatham Music Club would also like to thank the “Cape Cod Chronicle” and “Chatham Living By The Sea” magazine for their generous feature articles.

Visit our photo/video page for pictures of the 2023 Scholarship winners from our June gala. It was an afternoon of wonderful music presented by incredibly talented musicians. Our thanks to everyone who participated in this event!

On Sunday, May 21st, 2023, there will be three consecutive pipe organ concerts in three Chatham Main Street churches. Each concert will last approximately 30 minutes with a 30 minute window to reach the next church. A selection of crowd pleasing liturgical and secular music will be played.

All churches and organists are waiving any fee so that all monies will go directly to Monomoy Community ServicesThe Chatham Music Club will absorb all costs.

A reception of sweet and savory finger foods will follow the concert at the Congregational Church.

Tickets are $40, and will go on sale May 1, 2023.
Only 250 tickets may be sold due to seating capacity in the smallest church.
For tickets and information, call 508 945 5446.

It is unusual and wonderful to have three such different and superior pipe organs in one small town, on the same street, within walking distance. The Chatham Music Club is thrilled to be bringing this concert to fruition.
